Apparently one
of the most fascinating subjects, that interest human in general from the
earliest times, is man women relationship, beginning with Adam and Eve, from
the biblical era to our modern times, with all the paraphernalia of romance,
drama, and tragedy thrown in together to the final curtain. It’s a theatrical
saga played out in the drama of every individual’s life, we are ensnared, in
this vicious intricate web of birth and death, with no escape.
Why are we attracted to certain people, and
not to everyone who crosses our path, our soul retains all the past life
memories, in a subconscious level. This connection
embodies, unfulfilled dreams, strong desires, or to complete our karmic cycle
of birth and death, as ordained by us, before taking birth.
In a
particular birth when we perceive an individual, intellectually or
spiritually, a faint memory, deep in our subconscious mind is triggered, and
then commences a love relationship, which may have positive or negative lessons
for us, depending on our past deeds which connects our soul to the others.
My
observation of human nature is founded on direct personal experiences of the
people I have interacted in my life.
This
attraction starts from childhood, when a child is attracted to his parents,
very often this is carried to adulthood, when a man is attracted to an older women who resembles his mother either in looks or nature, which is
called (Oedipus complex, were the child is first attracted to his mother,) because
she is the first person he interacts with. The child totally depends on the mother for the smallest advice, In the long run he becomes a typical mama’s boy, who is
looking for security, is unable to take important decisions on his own,and prefers
to be the submissive kind, when he marries he lets the women handle everything in his life. Sometimes
the powerful aura surrounding the women in her professional life, is an
added attraction to some men, who like to mingle with women in powerful positions Now in case of the older women,who marry younger men, like to be in the
helm of affairs, were they are in total control of the men and their lives, most
of the time they have domineering, commanding nature, they like to run their lives in their own terms, which perfectly suit both the parties
concerned.
Now in case of very young girls getting attracted to much older men, in few such
cases females have a father figure syndrome, that can border to psychotic, in
other cases they are attracted to the
persons accomplishment, economic stability, powerful position,commanding nature, emotional
maturity, which they may find missing in
the men of their own generation. Some
women love the adulation and importance given to them by weak depressed men who
cling to these women for emotional support, as many a time these men are burnt,
by the stress and drama of their marital life, they believe that the women of
their age group, are all the same,to escape the repeation of the same drama they go for younger females, who obey them
unquestionably, and are good at feigning a sober, sedate, understanding image,
its a need based relationship, and cannot be sustained in the long run as they are based on
inequality.
Some older men like to satisfy their ego, with
beautiful young women or girls hanging around them, it is called the Lolita complex,
were older men erotize after young girls, apparently it makes them feel younger,
more sought after. In some cases they admire the innocence and naivety in the
younger females, its fine as far as admiration is concerned, and does not go
beyond this. Such men portray a pathetic image, these are signs of
deep insecurity and fear, and you are allowing someone to dictate your sense of
security and well being, which will ultimately isolate you from your family and
real genuine friends.
Some
individuals like unattainable objects of the opposite sex, they will go to any
length to allure and entice them , just
to boost their egos , once the object of attraction is attained, they are no
longer interested, eventually the girl and boy will become bored and find a new
person to roll with.
There are people
who use sex as a drug, to mask their feelings, they are unable to control their
sexual urges, and keep changing partners at random, they are promiscuous people, men and women are players, have
indiscriminate relationship, it’s a basic
need to seek attention, and validate their existence, these are people with mental issues, and need
psychiatric treatment.
These promiscuous
people do not realize the deep negative impact on their physical and mental
being. Their auras are disrupted resulting in physical and mental disorders,
which ultimately affects the soul, they are linked eternally to the people they
have relationship with.
During such
acts of carnal nature what happens to the person spiritually? There is life force
energy in the universe, the same energy also flows between individuals, this
energy is so powerful that it creates a new life, this energy takes us to a blissful
state, when we meditate, and hence this powerful energy has to be used wisely.
They say
even simple petting, fondling and kissing creates a energy link between two
individuals, but this is of a temporary nature, but sexual intercourse creates
a very strong energetic bond, for many years. Sometimes even in a bad love
relationship or marriage it is difficult to break complete ties with the partner concerned.
What happens to a person who keeps sleeping
with someone new? A energetic web is formed which are linked to each one the
person is connected to in a deep mental, physical and soul level, sometimes unknowingly
we are affected either by their positive or negative karma's, many a times our
lives undergo tremendous transformation when such people enter our lives. Even when someone loves deeply,
a mental and emotional bond is formed connecting the two at an aura level, the
deeper you feel, the stronger will be the bond, and harder it is to break the
connection, hence we should not keep close contacts with each and every person we interact, because their thoughts can influence us,They say, people who do not have sexual relation with others, do
not form energetic bonds, they look pure, untarnished, like monks, priests,and nuns.
Physical
relationship should be limited to the married partner or to someone you feel
deep love, and soul to soul connection. I feel that each and every soul is in
search of the perfect love story, were a boy meets a girl fall in love, and
live happily ever after. Such stories
were told to us by our grandparents, parents, teachers from mythology, history
or folklore, none of the love stories in our lives have such fairy tale endings,
many are in troubled relationship, when one affair comes crashing down, they go
looking out for a new love, and the whole sordid drama is repeated, you can never find real love through despair, it’s
like chasing a rainbow, in search of the illusionary pot of gold at the end of
the rainbow.
We are looking for love in all the wrong places,
we are looking externally, for someone to fulfill our deepest desires, and give
us security, to protect our vulnerable nature. What we should be really looking for is,
someone who will accept our true character, devoid of emotional mask, to look
for love beyond the body, beyond the lack of limitation set by our thoughts,
and the thoughts of the others, we have to connect to our inner soul, and look
for love within us, before we connect to others.
We have to learn to give unconditional love,
expect nothing in return, forgive the faults of others, understand their view
points, have patience, be compassionate, and control our feelings of anger,
irritation, hatred, jealousy, and possessiveness. Even if we are overcome by
this emotion, observe them in a detached manner, divert our mind to some
positive activity like listening to music, or watch a good film, read books or
just observe the beauty of nature, let the moment of negativity pass, then we
will be able to tackle our problem in a more rational manner, rather than
giving vent to it. I know it’s not easy, better said than done, but no harm in
trying, anything positive if it’s for our physical and mental well being, and eventually
to complete our mission on earth.
