HEAVENLY BLESSINGS,
EPHEMERAL LIFE
Life is full of love, beauty, joyful
grace,
Or, gloomy, ugly, with its sorrowful
phase.
One moment, buoyant, in the crest of
ecstasy,
The next, morose in the depth of
despondency.
Life is like a path laden with
beautiful flowers,
Or long winding, treacherous, filled
with thorns.
One moment, sweetly filled, in the
essence of joy,
The next, the mournful heart pricked
with a cry.
Life
is like the virginal, pristine clear blue sky,
Or filled, with shadowy dark clouds
floating by.
One moment, in its warm loving embrace,
The next, cold lightening strikes the
face.
Life is like a bubbling, eternally flowing
river,
Or imprisoned, in the bottomless murky
water.
One moment, singing and dancing with
the flow,
The next, drowning in the darkness
deep below.
Without a backward glance, the unyielding
life flows,
Dragging with it, sadness and miseries,
happiness and glows.
The past has disappeared, in a blink
of an eye, without delay,
The unpredictable, transient future,
never comes to stay.
Live joyfully, in the present moment, live for today,
Today well lived, will eventually show
the right way.
The way to happiness, peace, the way to true love,
United, eternally together, in Gods
realm we will bow.
