WISHFUL THINKING,

Come she says, my dream fairy, her beautiful, gentle eyes,

full of love, with  gossamer wings, finely woven with

moonbeams, flimsy silvery gown, billowing gently

 in the breeze, sitting on a crescent moon, in the blue sky,

her face so lively, hands  out stretched to wipe dew drops,

 from tear-filled saddened eyes, I pleaded with her,

 “why oh why am I filled with melancholy,  in deep pain”?

every sacrifice, every offering in homage, has gone in vain.

She embraced me lovingly, her violet aura soothing me,

Come she says,” I will fly with you, in the star lit night,”

the moon glowed silvery bright, lighting through the milky way

whirling me in radiant colors, through myriad number of galaxies,

 reverberating  with the eternal holy sound of the universe.

Filling me with sense of awe, and gratitude for God’s creation.......

Come she says,” I will fly you, over snow capped mountains”

the  snowflakes  forming beautiful crystals, like shining pearls

Lush green gardens filled with ornamental trees, exotic scented

flowers, dancing in the breeze , brightly colored birds flying freely.

Filling me with deep beauty, and pleasure for Gods creation.......

  

Come she says,” we will go sailing down the beautiful streams,”

over jagged rocks and pebbles, rippling down the mountains

to join the long winding river, which snakes down the valley,

singing and bubbling in delight, finally to meet the vast ocean below,
filling me with joy, running through my veins, at Gods creation......

I bowed in deep reverence, when I  was revealed the reason, why

rivers and seas receive homage of a hundred mountain streams,

is that they keep below them...... my ego and false pride, were

responsible for all the distress,  and emotional pain in me.
 Filling me with light, revealing knowledge of Gods creation ......

Finally I was filled with tranquility and peace, for I saw  the

Al-mightiness  hands in writing our fate, there is a reason behind

the wonderful chain of events, and difficult circumstances in our life,
for free will is in our hands, and ultimately destiny is,  Gods creation......

 With love and gratitude, I thanked  God and my wish fulfilling fairy.
